Link Motion is a new member of Linux Foundation and Automotive Grade Linux

In today’s connected world, security needs to be top of mind when developing software and hardware solutions. To collaborate and develop secure systems for connected cars, Link Motion has joined The Linux Foundation and Automotive Grade Linux (AGL).

The Linux Foundation brings together world’s leading developers and companies to solve the hardest technology problems and accelerate open technology development and commercial adoption. AGL is a workgroup dedicated to creating open source software solutions for automotive applications. Although the initial target for AGL is In-Vehicle-Infotainment (IVI) systems, additional use cases such as instrument clusters and telematics systems will eventually be supported. AGL has participants from the Automotive, Communications, and Semiconductor Industries.
